He later signed a recording contract with RCA Records in late 2007 and hit the industry with his first single, "Stealing Cinderella." The 41-year-old icon met Julianne barely a year later, and the pair lived out their short-termed romance.

A LOOK BACK AT THEIR RELATIONSHIP

Wicks and Hough warmed up to each other's families, spoke of marriage plans, and establishing a possible musical union. They made a later appearance in "Dancing With The Stars" as a couple.

Julianne remained Chuck Wicks' girlfriend until November 2009. Their breakup came as a shock to many who, until the official announcement of the split, still saw them as a typical lovestruck couple.

When asked about the reason behind their breakup, Julianne cited their busy careers and need to focus on that. She added that the decision was mutual.

WICKS LIFE AFTER THE BREAKUP

The pair moved on, pursued their careers, and started new relationships while maintaining a good friendship. Wicks went on to release several albums and singles, including "Night Train" and "Turning Point." He also became a co-host on "America's Morning Show," and has remained active to date.

Wicks was not in any publicly known relationship for years until he began dating country star Jason Aldean's sister, Kasi Williams Morstad. He announced their relationship in 2018, and months later, they got engaged.

WICKS' STRUGGLE WITH INFERTILITY

Shortly after their legal union, Wicks and his wife received the bitter news that they were suffering from male infertility, which made it near-impossible for his wife to conceive naturally. The discovery of the bitter reality began their search for solutions and a daunting journey to conceive.

Chuck Wicks's wife, who has three daughters from a previous marriage, conceived following an embryo transfer on March 25. The couple revealed in an exclusive interview that their miracle baby boy would arrive in December 2020, and they were all too excited to meet him.

WHAT JULIANNE HOUGH HAS BEEN UP TO

Following her separation from Seacrest, Julianne went on to date Brooks Laich. They got married in July 2017, in a fairy tale themed wedding in Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Their marriage thrived for three years.

However, in early 2020, the pair seemingly began to experience problems in their marriage stemming from certain differences. They ended up separated for months, with Brooke moving to Idaho. On May 29, the one-time Hollywood sweethearts announced their divorce.

With Hough once again open to a new relationship, one can't help but anticipate what lies in store for the 31-year-old, seeing as Wicks is definitely off the market and an expectant father.
